Leofoto BV-15L Fluid Head with Lever Release Clamp

Leofoto BV-15L Fluid Head with Lever Release Clamp

Smooth, Professional Camera Movement for Video Creators
Create polished, professional-looking footage with the Leofoto BV-15L Fluid Head with Lever Release Clamp. Designed for videographers, filmmakers, wildlife photographers, and content creators, this compact fluid video head helps deliver controlled panning and tilting when recording moving subjects.

Shaky movements, sudden framing changes, and difficult camera adjustments can make otherwise excellent footage look unprofessional. The BV-15L is designed to help address these challenges with fluid movement, adjustable drag control, and independent pan and tilt locks, giving you greater control over your camera.

With aluminium-alloy construction, an Arca-type quick-release system, and a maximum payload of 10 kg, the Leofoto BV-15L is a versatile support head for compatible mirrorless cameras, DSLRs, and compact camcorders.

Lever-Release Clamp for Faster Camera Setup
When you are working on a time-sensitive shoot, every adjustment matters. Repeatedly loosening and tightening a conventional mounting clamp can slow down your workflow, especially when moving between different scenes or camera positions.

The Leofoto BV-15L lever-release clamp allows compatible Arca-type plates to be attached and removed conveniently. Its quick-release system helps streamline camera setup, while the included 100 mm plate offers mounting options with both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws.

The plate also features anti-twist pads designed to improve contact with compatible camera equipment. This makes the BV-15L a practical choice for creators who frequently reposition their cameras during video shoots.

Always check that the plate is fully secured and compatible with your camera or rig before use.

Fluid Panning and Tilting for More Cinematic Footage
Smooth camera movement can transform ordinary footage into a more engaging viewing experience. Whether you are following an athlete, tracking wildlife, recording an interview, or capturing a sweeping landscape, controlled movement helps keep your subject framed naturally.

The Leofoto BV-15L fluid video head provides 360° panning and a tilt range from +90° to -75°. Its adjustable pan and tilt drag helps you tailor the movement to your shooting style, while the independent locks allow you to secure either axis when required.

These features make it easier to create controlled camera movements without constantly adjusting your entire tripod. For videographers who want consistent framing and more deliberate movement, the BV-15L offers a practical foundation for improving their shooting workflow.

Reliable Camera Support with a 10 kg Payload
Supporting a camera and lens securely is essential when working with professional equipment. An unsuitable head can make framing difficult, increase handling fatigue, and restrict the camera configurations you can use.

The Leofoto BV-15L supports a maximum payload of 10 kg, making it suitable for a range of compatible camera and lens combinations. Its aluminium-alloy body is designed to balance durability with practical portability.

For the best results, consider the total weight and balance of your camera, lens, cage, monitor, microphone, and other accessories. The maximum payload is not the same as the ideal balancing range, so ensure your particular setup can be balanced appropriately before filming.

Accurate Levelling and Flexible Handle Positioning
Maintaining a level horizon can be challenging when setting up on uneven ground or changing tripod positions between shots. Even a small alignment error can become distracting in a finished video.

The BV-15L includes two bubble levels—one on the pan base and another on the camera platform—to help you check alignment during setup. Its indexed camera platform also helps make repeatable positioning and rebalancing more convenient.

The included pan handle can be attached to either side of the head using the handle mounting rosettes. This flexibility helps operators choose a comfortable working position and adjust their setup to suit their shooting environment.

Compact Fluid Head for Studio and Outdoor Production
A large camera support system can be inconvenient when travelling, filming in tight spaces, or moving between multiple shooting locations. A compact fluid head helps keep your setup more manageable without sacrificing useful camera movement controls.

The Leofoto BV-15L has a 70 mm flat base with a 3/8"-16 mounting interface, allowing it to attach to compatible tripods and support systems. Its compact design makes it suitable for studio work, interviews, documentary filming, wildlife observation, and mobile video production.

Whether you are building a lightweight creator kit or upgrading an existing tripod setup, the BV-15L provides fluid movement and quick-release convenience in one camera-support accessory.

Best Suitable For

The Leofoto BV-15L is best suited for video production, filmmaking, interviews, wildlife videography, birding, sports coverage, documentary filming, landscape videos, studio recording, and tripod-based camera setups requiring smooth pan-and-tilt movement.
