The new XA65 offers high-quality 4K recording with newly added features such as UVC (USB Video Class), 1/5.84cm (2.3in)-type CMOS sensor, optical 20x zoom lens, improved LCD, EVF and USB power supply(PD-E1). In addition, this model is equipped with a 3G-SDI output.

OSD Recording
With the new function of on-screen display (OSD) recording, it allows the XA65 to be used as a surveilance camera, enhancing its value as it can be used for verification. Information such as date, time, time code and other text on the screen can be recorded. Users can select the items to be displayed and its recording position.
800x Digital Zoom
The ability to zoom up to 800x digitally allows user to enlarge in to check on details for monitoring, security and other purposes.
High definition LCD
The 2.76 million dots, 3.5-inch LCD can deliver crisp high definition image quality details. The LCD has four backlight brightness levels (about twice as bright as previous models).
This improves on the visibility during news coverage and other outdoor shoots.
Tiltable EVF with High Dot Count
The 0.36-inch eletronic viewfinder (EVF) features a high pixel count of approx. 1.77 million dots, letting users check the on-screen picture with even fine details displayed crisply and clearly.
